Learn To Brioche Knit
Are you looking to up your knitting skills? This is the class for you. This will be a 2 part class with the first session August 24th and the second part September 7th from 11-1pm. You will learn the basics of brioche and be on your way to creating beautiful designs. This is not a beginner class

About the event
Learn how to Brioche Knit! The pattern is a free Ravelry download scarf. It will teach you basic brioche knitting as well as some increase and decrease stitches.
You will need 2 colors DK or Worsted yarn (one light and one dark with a significant contrast between them), approximately 270 yards of each color, size 7 or 8 circular needle, tapestry needle, stitch markers, and a cable needle. Here is a great FREE pattern for the class. It has increases and decreases. https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/brioche-basix-scarf. Please download the pattern and bring it to class with you. All supplies can be purchased at the shop.
Once you have done this scarf, you can explore many other techniques in your Brioche Journey. There is no homework. We will start the scarf in the first class and you can decide if you want to do the I Cord edge or just do a plain cast on. Come join the Brioche Fun!
