About the event
We will be learning the history of Lace Knitting from Shetland, Scotland. Lace work looks very detailed, but it is not impossible. You will need to have advanced beginner skills (know how to cast on and bind off, increase and decrease). We will be working on a beautiful Shetland Shawl that is a paid pattern which you will need to buy in the shop and you will need lace weight yarn which we have in the shop (Heathered Merino or Silver Key Stitches, or Mohair) and US 4 needles. Please make sure that you purchase the items before the class so you are prepared to get started!! We are so excited to have this event!! If you have any questions, email us at the shop or stop in!
